Once you have become a contributor, you are now able to submit any articles or pieces you've written! In order to submit an article, please email your article (you may attach a Word Document or Google Doc) to [email protected].
What Can i submit?
- Personal experiences that you've had regarding your disability(ies)
- Ex: This also includes pieces like "10 Things I Wish People Knew About (Aspect of Disability)"
- Opinion pieces on different aspects of the disability community (ex: person first language, able-bodied individuals playing characters with disabilities on film, etc.)
- Reviews of movies, books, etc. that involve aspects of disabilities
- Articles/blog posts that you've written for a personal blog/other website
submission guidelines
- Person first language ("a person with autism") and identity first language ("autistic") are welcome here
- It is appreciated if you source any facts you may include in your article
- Do not attack a group of people in your article (religious groups, political groups, minority groups)
- Use content or trigger warnings at the beginning of your article if applicable (if they are not included, some warnings might be added if applicable)
- If you mention other people in your article, please keep their identity private unless stated by the other person that you may share their identity
- Please add an article title!
